From the beginning, Christine and Kevin have shared a love of adventure, the outdoors, and a healthy lifestyle. Their interests quickly blended into thousands of days spent in the mountains, hundreds of sunsets spent under the stars, and countless miles beneath their feet. Love was easy from the start. Finding healthy, low-carbohydrate options for dining on the trail, however, was more difficult. Christine has lived with type 1 diabetes since 2000, and has always struggled to find camping food that allows her to maintain tight blood sugar management. That sparked an idea: they started batch cooking and dehydrating low-carb, high-protein meals in their Denver kitchen one summer, and the rest is history!

 

Our Mission

We believe everyone should feel welcome in the outdoors.  We make delicious, nutrient-packed meals for camping, backpacking, or wherever the trail takes you.  We create small-batch, carbohydrate-conscious and high-protein meals adaptable for omnivores and vegans alike, and support sustainable and local ingredients whenever possible. We believe that all people deserve to feel happy and healthy on the trail, and that our highly nutritious meals can contribute to a better overall experience, especially for people following low carb lifestyles.
